Food + Beer has removed the awesome vegan option. There are now 4 non-vegan bowls and you can sub impossible meat for 5$. Why do we have to pay 5$ on top of the price of the bowl if you are taking away the main ingredient of beef or tuna? The cheapest bowl comes to $21 and the most expensive 23.45$ at a sports bar. I chose the Korean bbq bowl and subbed the impossible meat. It was not as good as before (so much kimchee).

I absolutely love the vegan option at Food + Beer—it’s so delicious! I’ve had times when it was incredible and others when it was just okay, but don’t let a mediocre experience hold you back. Give it another try, because it’s awesome! The Vegan Bun-Cha Bowl is a standout: Impossible peanut-glazed meatballs, pickled veggies, cucumber, cilantro, peanuts, scallion, sesame, lime, and sticky rice. A must-try for vegans and food lovers alike!
